Designed for an open-plan living space, this record player cabinet elegantly displays the client's extensive vinyl collection while providing ample storage. Dimmable warm white LED lights, easily controlled from a nearby wall switch, enhance the ambiance for any record playing. The bottom cabinet discreetly houses all technical equipment, while the record player rests on top for convenient access. The exposed plywood edges beautifully contrast with the sleek white surfaces, creating a modern yet industrial aesthetic.
The sliding birch doors are arranged to achieve a continuous grain flow across the front, while the carcass features lap joints for a seamless look. The shelf is reinforced with structural rods housed inside stainless steel tubes, designed to support around 120 records effectively while complementing the overall design.
The kickboard is designed with staggered heights and varying sizes of exposed plywood edges, adding another detail to the overall aesthetic.
